Severe congestion is occurring across terminals in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) area due to COVID restrictions and new testing rules. Congestion in Yantian is “worse than Suez” and spreading to nearby Shekou and Nansha ports. Carriers are omitting Yantian in at attempt to maintain their schedules. Read more here.
