On the 24th February 2022 Russia invaded Ukraine. This was a devastating act of war displacing thousands of Ukrainians who have been sent fleeing. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has remained in Kyiv to defend his country along with his army. Countries around the world condemned Putin’s action and have initiated sanctions against Russia.
