• Emerging Risk Countries Expanded
  The Republic of Korea and Japan are now officially listed as emerging risk countries. Imports from these nations may now undergo random inspections, though treatment remains optional for these goods.
• Airfreight Compliance Enhanced

  A new compound, Ethyl Formate (plus CO₂), is now approved for offshore fumigation — the first of its kind for BMSB compliance. Onshore approval is under consideration for future seasons. (AgFisheriesForestry)
